This is a glimpse of the Woodthings Shop. Like most shops, it has evolved over the years to reflect my work style, projects and new tools.

While I use power tools, my passion is hand tool work. This series shows the process for creating the lids for some custom tea boxes I was making.

I finally decided I needed a Moxon vise. It’s pretty stout with white oak jaws. It really does save my back during long dovetailing sessions.
